Creative Brief:
Inspired by the band portraits featured in the original release, the cover of this anniversary edition uses opaque white ink on a high gloss foil to effectively create a portrait of the viewer, reflected within the dot formations of the cover painting. On the inner board pockets, the look of artist Paul Normansell’s enamel-on-aluminum paintings is achieved with a silver ink background and high gloss spot varnish over the dots. The metallic silver is also a nod to the album’s sleek, sophisticated pop and flashy Las Vegas roots.
